Privacy Policy
Effective 24 September 2026
Bid & Gather is a scorekeeper for trick-taking card games. It is designed so that your data never leaves your device.
What the app stores
Player names, bids, tricks, scores, finished-game history and your settings are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. There is no account, no sign-in and no server that receives this data.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect, transmit or sell personal information.
- It does not use advertising, analytics or tracking libraries.
- It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
- It does not make network requests while you use it.
Sharing and backups
If you choose to copy or export a scorecard or backup, that data is handed to the app or service you pick (for example Messages or Files). Where it goes from there is governed by that service's privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Use “Erase all data” in the app's Options tab, or delete the app. Both remove all stored games, players and settings from the device.
The website
The web version at the same address is served by a hosting provider that, like any web host, processes standard request logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) to deliver the page. The web app itself stores its data in your browser's local storage and sets no cookies.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
